PARAMOUNT, CA. July 25, 2012 – Mattco Forge Inc. announced today that their Paramount California manufacturing facility has received certification under the AS9100 RevC aerospace and defense quality standard.

AS9100 RevC is a complete Quality Management System approach that defines the foundational requirements for the aerospace and defense industry.  It is published by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and widely recognized as the aerospace industry standard.

"The AS9100 RevC certification is a reflection of the continuous efforts and commitments made by our employees to provide forged components of the highest quality," said Rob Lewis, Vice President at Mattco Forge Inc. "This certification further helps increase our customers' confidence that our process-oriented approach will meet their rigorous quality requirements."

Mattco Forge Inc. received initial AS9100 certification in mid-2000, a first for manufacturers of forged metal products. Becoming AS9100 RevC certified strengthens the company's competitive position and standardizes quality processes across its multiple aerospace and defense programs. The certification was awarded by International Standards Authority, Inc., a globally recognized testing, inspection and certification organization, after extensive third-party audits of Mattco’s facility. The certification covers a variety of operations including design, new product introduction, manufacturing and services.
